One Brainy Bone by Jolly Pets for $10 - shipping included - 29% off

Right now on doggyloot you can get One Brainy Bone by Jolly Pets for just $10 - shipping included.

Sign up now and get a $5 credit with the opportunity to earn even more credits!

Brainy Bones® are the revolution in intelligent treat dispensing toys. These new toys come in three different styles: Whirl-a-Bone™ (yellow), Peek-a-Bone™ (green), and Tug-a-Bone™ (blue) and two sizes: small and large. Put a treat in the hollow center and close the puzzle. With the Whirl-a-Bone, your dog must manipulate the bone to swing open the top and expose the treat. Peek-a-Bone has to be pushed down at the top of the bone and will “pop” open exposing the treat. The dog must then find a way to keep the top of the bone open while getting out the treat. With Tug-a-Bone™, your dog must manipulate the bone so that one side is pulled out and then swung open to expose the treat. This is a great way to entertain and challenge your dog!

Kong Dog Toys Review

Kong Dog Products

First up is the Kong Classic
Now, I know that the toy seems simple and not very exciting for dogs but you can do so much with this one toy and it will provide your dog with mental stimulation and keep them busy for quite a while depending on what you do with it.  They may be a bit pricey in the big box stores, but you can get the large size on Amazon for around $8.50.  Not a bad investment for something that is practically indestructible.

I have a rottweiler mix and a lab mix, so they are definitely big chewers and can destroy pretty much any toy out there.  They have yet to tear one of these apart.  One of my favorite things to do with this is to put some peanut butter in a glass measuring cup and put it in the microwave a few seconds until it is a bit thinner and easy to pour. Then I put some kibble or treats in the kong and then pour the peanut butter over the kibble.  I usually place the kong in a plastic bag, with the larger hole up then put it in the freezer for a few hours and then I give it to the pups.  It keeps them busy for quite a while.

Another suggestion: Tuna, Peanut Butter, Coconut Oil, Cottage Cheese **Freeze**

Kong Wobbler
The kong wobbler is relatively new, it sells for about $20 in Petco or Petsmart, but you can get it on Amazon for about $14.  I have the large one and you can put a cup of food in it at a time, so mine only can get half of their dinner at a time in it, the other half goes in the bowl.  It takes them a good 10 minutes to get it all out and provides them with mental stimulation to keep them happy and more manageable and helps relieve boredom.

Kong Genius Leo
I only have the Kong Genius Leo, I haven't gotten the others, I wanted to see if mine could figure out one genius toy and enjoy it before adding more to it.  They do enjoy it, I put treats in it sometimes kibble, but the kibble is too easy for them to get out since the pieces are small.  They do enjoy playing with it so I will probably add more.

I think all of these of toys are a great investment for both you and your dogs and will help provide environmental enrichment which has many benefits for both you and your dog.  You can read about it more HERE.
