Our Top 10 Dog Toys & why we like them
We have compiled a list of our Top 10 Dog toys and why we like them. (They are favorites for us anyways, everyone has their own favorites).
1. KONG Wubba - durable, great for tossing and tugging. We love to play tug of war with them and shake them by their "tentacles."
2. KONG - Can be filled with yummy treats and goodies and frozen to keep the dogs busy for hours. Extremely durable.
3. Planet Dog Orbee Tuff Ball - Durable, Buoyant, Bouncy, Minty, and can be filled with treats.
4. Teaser Ball - Rolls erratically, floats, keeps the dogs busy and entertained for hours.
5. Flirt Pole - burns off excess energy with little energy from you. Great for exercising dogs, provides mental stimulation as well as physical exercise. Makes a very tired dog.
6. KONG Squeakair - extremely durable balls, squeaks, nonabrasive felt, we have never managed to destroy ours, eventually the squeaker does stop working, but it could be because we are obsessed with squeakers.
7. Rope Toys (with antler pieces) - Great for tugging, tossing, and chewing. If you have a teething puppy, soak it in a little bit of water, throw it in the freezer and you now have a teething chew.
8. Tuffy Toys - EXTREMLY durable, machine washable, and they float.
9. Kyjen Invincible - We love it because the squeakers are indestructible, even when the squeaker has been punctured it still squeaks. People don't love it quite as much. Contains NO stuffing!!!
10. Jolly Pets Egg - Cheaper version of the more expensive Egge Toy - This unique egg-shaped dog toy wobbles this way and that, and shoots away from us as we try to grab it. This super tough toy will provide hours of entertainment for your dog. This is as close to an indestructible toy as we've found
And a little bonus :)
Kyjen Hedgehog toy - nothing too special about it. It grunts instead of squeaks so it's not as annoying as squeaking toys. It does contain stuffing, but we didn't destroy ours and rip out the stuffing... maybe because there isn't a squeaker? Either way, we recommend it.
