MLB Hoodie Totes
I'm not as big into baseball as I am football, but it's ok. I never really got into it, so I don't really understand it, but it's not terrible. But anyways, since I posted about the NFL hoodie totes and I think they are adorable ... I should post about the MLB ones as well.

Tampa Bay Rays and Evan Longoria are raising money for a no kill shelter
Since this is so close to me, I figured I would blog about it. I'm not a big fan of baseball, but in this case, I think I can like it :)
Evan Longoria, the Tampa Bay Rays, and Bright House Networks are teaming up with Pet Pal Animal Shelter in St Petersburg, FL (for those of you that don't know, the Rays actually play in St. Pete, not Tampa). For every home run Longoria hits they will donate $100 to the shelter. Longoria hit 31 home runs during the 2011 season and he has only hit 4 home runs this season, not that he has been playing lately. HydroDog Mobile is also going to be donating and will match the donation made by the Rays.
Unfortunately, Longoria is on the disabled list due to a hamstring injury but they are hoping he will be able to resume baseball activities in a week.
About Pet Pal Animal Shelter: Our mission is to rescue dogs and cats from animal shelters that may otherwise be euthanized due to time limitations, illness, injuries or lack of socialization and training. We are also dedicated to educating the public about the pet overpopulation crisis, the importance of spaying/neutering and responsible pet ownership.
